I was really skeptical about this.
Darryl is my neighbor and I saw him go through the pain and surgery
on his knees. They told him that was the last time and he needed a
career change. He told me about the acupuncture and I smiled... yah
sure? He went to school because it helped him.... still smiling yah
sure. Well today my back (truck falling on me 33 yrs ago and
calcium holding 3 vertebrae together) went out and was really
causing me pain.... the kind that makes you immobile soon. I called
Darryl and asked if I could come in and after 10 minutes I was
fine. Beats me? I've been to all sorts of doctors and chiropractors
through the years and they want to cut on me or give me drugs. I
don't like any of those options. Never I have I gotten relief like
that at any time. I not getting a cut here just being a happy
camper. I can move freely with no pain and wanted to share that
with you.
T.S. 09/2005
I had been experiencing a sharp pain in my side for several
days. Unable to sleep on that side of my body it became serious
enough to contact a physician. He recommended ibuprofen, hot and
cold compresses and rest. After three more days of suffering my
wife suggested acupuncture. I didn't know what else I could do so I
tried it. Mr Aiello took his time and listened to the
aforementioned. He said he thought he could help me. He gave me a
brief explanation about what he thought would work best for my
pain. He put me on the table and was very concerned about me being
comfortable, relaxed, and began the treatment. He explained how
each point served a different purpose. It was all very dreamy. He
asked if I wanted the lights dimmed and played some soft eastern
music. My mind emptied and I felt very peaceful and changing. After
I left I didn't feel any change in the pain. And then, I turned the
heat on high in my car. As the car warmed I felt my breaths getting
deeper and the pain in my side fading. By the time I got home I was
pain-free. At the follow-up appointment two days later I told him I
was completely baffled about my results and asked for more
information of which he was more than willing to give. I am now a
firm believer in the power of acupuncture.
In closing, I think the public should be made aware
of alternative forms of medicine. There are many paths to the same
destination. There is an old phrase that has kept men blind to the
truth for centuries, "contempt prior to Investigation".
